Ah, back again.

So wrapping up the host of movies. Cat in the hat, right sucked. However as a childs movie it was fairly good, my son had a great time watching it and while a purist would and could complain about the lack of following the story, it wove the original story into a somewhat newer version. It was creditable. The color scheme was true seuss.

So then I follow this up with Mulholland Dr.
Intersting setting cast acting ect. Over all the movie had a good pace for the first 2 hours. Then it fast forwards about 6 years in one fell swoop of jumbled images and setting till it lands on the same characters later richer more famous, doing the hollywood thing. As the world moves in circles so does the film, as we bagain with the attempted murder of rita, better takes the cash from the opening scene (or so it seems) and use's this to purchase a hit man to kill her. Better assume the name of the dead gal in the apartment Diane Selwyn, using it as her stage name, just to make the cycle more confusing and darker.

Things that could have been better. Like what did the crazy dude in the open film have to do with anything, so he had bad dreams. Looks like filler to me, there was nothing in the couple scenes that could not have been either left unexplained (Like there actually was any explaining) or drawn into the plot in another manner, or just left out. The Keys fit in here very well.

The lame hit man, cut his extra scene out, added if anything a touch of dark humor, but irrelevant to the movie.

All in all anintersting film over filled with the directors idiosyncracies.

Back to reality how ever grim our journeys end.

The Space Dome project continues, the painting begins, will be a nice space themed grey, commonly known to artists and painters as bunny grey! How ever comes up with these names should be taken down to the beach staked out, covered with honey and left for the ants and seagulls.

I'm more into hexidecimal coding, at least that makes scense, you know colors like: #AD8B2E

Panda firewall anti virus. Set this up on oen of the systems on the net work. took a little work to get fully set up and running, but nothing bad, worked great.

dang thing work connect to the internet on that machine! It only connects or to be precise, allows connection to the internet, when its piggybacking on the networks dialup. If you disconnect the net work, no amount of dialing in will allow you to get email, browse the internet or any of those wonderful thing your supposed to be doing. I mean this is great software NOTHING goes in or Out!

I could use just a little less protection please~

I suppose I will eventually figure out where and how to adjust the setting, but so far they seem rather obscured.

Well Busy, busy, busy. Holidays are over. Cooking is done, eating is done and the leftovers are gone!

Worked and work at painting the addition and finally the primer is all on.

So Now we get to try and match color patterns for the rest of the dome. Its supposed to be a copy of Moon Base from UFO. A real life SHADO HQ is you know what I'm talking about. We are going a silver grey, with trim and appliances that meet the overo all outlook for this. The accessway to the Dome is already called the Air lock.

Now I need one of those door chimes with the laser light that I can program with suitable door opening noises.

Expect pics here once I get to that stage.

Moving right along, I borrowed a bunch of DVD's and Have some quick comments:
Flintstones. Egad, the movie does suck. It has a good Fred, and Betty, but Barney and wilma don't work out well in that roll. Still its an interesting thing to watch this and thing back to the TV Cartoon and sort of fill in the blanks. So its good for research purposes I suppose.

13 going on 30. 15 minute movie short that is the most excellent variation on body switching themes, drawn out into a full length movie that is bound to make you twitch. Come on. There is no such thing as a 13yr old thats THAT stupid.

Emporer's Club
Good movie, keeps you watching, does nothing. Just like life, which I suppos if the point of the film, or so it seemed that was the point. I already knew that, so could have spend time on something else.
